Shift Manager, Pub

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at our stadium location. This role requires a dynamic individual who can assist in daily operations with a strong emphasis on service excellence and operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Charge: Manage, coach, and inspire a diverse team of 5–35 hourly employees per shift, handle scheduling and pre‑shift huddles.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Manage labor percentages and COGS, oversee inventory, ordering, and forecasting to keep the pub prepared.
• Maintain the Quality: Oversee beverage quality and apply basic draft system knowledge (keg swaps, gas ratios, troubleshooting).
• Be the Face of Hospitality: Provide a kind, patient, professional presence for guests and act as a supportive mentor for the team.
• Be a Noticer: Ensure the workspace is clean, lighting and music are appropriate, and promptly address any issues that affect the guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culture Driver: People‑person who keeps shifts fun and staff engaged.
• Hospitality Heart: Enjoy being on the floor, greeting guests and going above and beyond.
• Experience: 1–2 years of management experience in food & beverage.
• Business Acumen: Solid understanding of ordering and labor costs.
• Flexibility: Availability for nights and weekends when the pub thrives.
• Nice‑to‑Have: Genuine love for craft beer and familiarity with draft systems.
