Shift Lead - Taco Bell Franchise, Granbury, TX

About the role

A Taco Bell franchise in Granbury, TX (Kumar Management) is hiring a Shift Lead. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running shifts in a self-sufficient way, taking ownership of problems and helping colleagues. It is a restaurant management position with about 30+ hours per week, though hours vary with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Run shifts consistently, following the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) routine and ensuring team members complete their shift excellence tasks and look neat and uniformed.
• Prioritize customer needs, resolve complaints quickly, greet customers politely and work with urgency.
• Attend on time, report to work in uniform and use the approved timekeeping system accurately.
• Give regular feedback to team members, train them and handle conflicts constructively.
• Help with profit and loss management through cash control, security, inventory and labor, and oversee product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist with facility maintenance and health and safety, and perform other duties asked by the manager.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old, able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation and ability to do basic business math.
• Strong preference for internal promotion from the Hourly Champion position.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and stoop for 90% of a shift, and to sweep, mop, dust, lift trash and clean the parking lot.
