About the role
The Shelter Lead works overnight at Menlo Park Village, providing support and services to residents while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality of care.
Key responsibilities
- Complete required trainings (CPR, blood‑borne pathogens, food handling) within 30 days of hire.
- Perform intakes and exits, conduct facility rounds, and support staff in monitoring resident behavior and activities.
- Supervise staff, assist the Program Manager, and lead regular village meetings.
- Participate in quality‑assurance processes, crisis response, and emergency procedures.
Required profile
- Strong time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work physically on‑site for the full shift and reliably attend all trainings and meetings.
- Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination or religious exemption.
Required skills
- Experience with database systems and ability to train others.
