Service Technician – Ridgeview Place

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for its Ridgeview Place community in Colorado Springs. The technician will perform technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and functional. This role supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and adhere to all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance manuals and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and scheduling vendor work.
• Commitment to safety, including participation in safety meetings and adherence to risk‑management policies.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various weather conditions.
