Lease-Up Leasing Professional – The Selby

About the role

The Lease-Up Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Selby community. You will manage all aspects of leasing, from prospect engagement to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, and processing applications.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct leasing activities, qualify prospects, and guide them through the application and move‑in process.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and readiness.
• Awareness of local market trends and ability to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
• Experience creating and managing referral, outreach, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Competence in using property management software to maintain accurate leasing records.
