Service Technician – Residential Remodels

About the role

Mad City Windows & Baths, a Renuity Company, is seeking a Service Technician to support residential remodel projects across the Midwest and East Coast. The role involves delivering high‑quality service and rapid response to customers in homes, condos, and apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site service and customer support during field visits.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Repair showers and tubs, fix plumbing leaks, and install shower doors.
• Wrap and replace windows, install window sashes, and perform siding and shingle installation.
• Paint, stain, replace interior trim, and conduct drywall taping, mudding, and patching.
• Perform general caulking, cleaning, and collect any balance due.
• Follow company procedures and produce detailed service reports.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in the remodeling industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Strong attention to quality standards and ability to grasp complex concepts.

Required skills

• Shower and tub repair.
• Plumbing leak repair.
• Window wrapping and sash replacement.
• Painting and staining.
• Drywall taping, mudding, and patching.
• Siding and shingle installation.
• Caulking and general cleaning.
