Service Technician – Kia

About the role

The Service Technician troubleshoots and repairs customer vehicles at our Kia dealership. You will perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards, ensuring the vehicle is fixed right the first time.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and according to manufacturer/dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles and record findings for any additional repairs.
• Explain vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to customers or Service Advisors in clear, non‑technical language.
• Stay current with new technical information and technology by attending required or recommended manufacturer training.

Required profile

• Prior experience and/or education as an automotive technician; dealership experience with import and/or Kia certifications preferred.
• Experience using shop equipment such as diagnostic and alignment tools.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record per insurance standards.
• Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
