Service Technician

About the role

ChefTek, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to travel to commercial customers across the Denver Metro area. You will diagnose and repair hot‑side kitchen equipment, refrigeration, ice machines, specialty appliances, and HVAC systems while delivering a white‑glove customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs on commercial kitchen equipment (hot side, refrigeration, ice machines, specialty appliances) and HVAC units.
• Order, install, and manage parts efficiently; maintain the company vehicle.
• Complete accurate administrative tasks, including notes, communication, and follow‑up with customers, technicians, and office staff.
• Maintain proper inventory levels for vehicle and job sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform work safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience in commercial or residential appliance and HVAC repair, or similar experience in plumbing, electrical, or construction.
• EPA certification and a clean, valid driver’s license.
• Highly motivated, self‑sufficient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, customer service, and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 lb.
