Service Technician

About the role

Mills Auto Group is seeking certified automotive service technicians to join our clean, safe, temperature‑controlled dealership in Shreveport, LA. The position offers a supportive environment where you can apply your expertise in vehicle repair and diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment, including test‑driving vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Broad knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner with strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Computer literate and able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
