Service Technician – Hyundai Vehicles

About the role

The Hyundai Service Technician will join Mills Auto Group’s service department in Hampton, VA, performing diagnostics and repairs on Hyundai vehicles. This full‑time position requires a detail‑oriented professional who can deliver high‑quality service while maintaining excellent customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized garage environment.
• Address customer concerns courteously and professionally.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrications, and tire rotations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety‑related issues and report findings.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to discuss diagnostic and repair strategies.
• Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in a dealership or related auto‑industry setting.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• High school diploma or GED.
