About the role
The Service Technician supports Greystar’s property portfolio by performing technical and mechanical work that keeps buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional. The role focuses on responding to resident requests, conducting preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and service outcomes.
Required profile
- Ability to perform technical and mechanical tasks on building systems and components.
- Strong attention to safety, policy adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Capability to diagnose issues, prioritize work, and follow established repair procedures.
- Effective coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
