Service Supervisor – Property Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is preparing a property transition in Boise and seeks a Service Supervisor to ensure the community’s buildings, grounds and common areas meet the company’s high standards of cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of maintenance activities and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to verify quality, scope and compliance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies while staying within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance procedures as defined in company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi‑unit residential settings.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagnose mechanical or building issues and perform appropriate repairs.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling vendors, managing inventory and overseeing make‑ready activities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Effective communication for coordinating with residents, community managers and external service providers.
