Service Supervisor – Las Vegas Grand

About the role

This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The Service Supervisor coordinates maintenance activities, manages vendors, and ensures resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests, diagnose defects, and perform repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for community grounds, building exteriors, amenities, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to verify quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed within budget guidelines.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs and capital projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in property or building maintenance.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
• Strong customer‑service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs; property‑management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA certifications (Type I, Type II, or Universal) for HVAC refrigerant handling.
• Competence with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, MSDS documentation, and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a support capacity.
