Service Receptionist / Customer Service / Cashier

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our automotive service department. The role combines front‑desk greeting, appointment scheduling, cash handling and ensuring a welcoming lounge environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and direct them to the appropriate service staff.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments.
• Process payments for completed service and parts work, and balance receipts at shift end.
• Maintain the customer lounge by restocking refreshments, keeping the area tidy, and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
• Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews on social media.

• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Professional appearance and ability to handle customer frustrations calmly.
• Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling and receipt balancing.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Ability to use phone systems and scheduling tools.
