Service Material Handler

About the role

As a Service Material Handler you will be the first point of contact for all inbound and outbound material flows at our Bethlehem site. You will ensure that shipments are received, inspected, stored and dispatched accurately and on time, supporting the production and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, open boxes, crates and containers.
• Inspect freight for damage and accuracy, then unpack and put away.
• Pick parts and pre‑package orders according to customer specifications.
• Pack and ship products using the UPS system.
• Assemble parts kits and package them for production requirements.
• Perform SAP transactions related to material movements and inventory.
• Assist with periodic inventories and maintain 5S standards.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for material flow.
• Work overtime as required, often with short notice.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical capability to lift and move materials.
• Willingness to work overtime with little notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for inventory and material transactions.
• Experience using UPS shipping systems.
• Knowledge of 5S workplace organization.
• Basic material‑handling and inventory‑management skills.
