Server – Fine Dining at Troubadour Golf & Field Club

About the role

Join the Food and Beverage Service Department at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, a premier destination just outside Nashville, Tennessee. As a Server, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences for members and guests, ensuring every detail reflects the Discovery Land Company standard of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Present detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and beverage pairings, offering recommendations based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system, issue checks, and process payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the dining area, including daily stocking and adherence to food safety protocols.
• Perform opening and closing duties, conduct inventory checks, and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Restaurant Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of serving experience in a full‑service, high‑end restaurant, club, or resort environment.
• Ability to obtain or hold a State Food Safety Certificate and knowledge of ServSafe/HACCP standards.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (ServSafe, HACCP) and ability to secure certification.
• Understanding of wine, cocktail, and beverage pairings.
