Senior Windows System Administrator

About the role

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to join its team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role focuses on installing, configuring, maintaining and securing Windows‑based workstations and services supporting critical mission needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Install and configure operating systems and apply software updates in accordance with DoD STIGs.
• Perform system patching, PowerShell scripting and release management activities.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of network resources.
• Schedule and maintain backups, verify data recoverability and conduct routine compliance audits.
• Document system configurations and maintain a hardware/software inventory.
• Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams on remediation, patching and vulnerability scanning.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
• 10 + years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree with 2 + years in an IT enterprise network role.
• IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.
