Senior Trademark Paralegal – Global Portfolio Management

About the role

The Senior Trademark Paralegal will support 3M’s worldwide trademark portfolio, collaborating with business clients, outside counsel, and cross‑functional teams. This position offers a chance to work on global clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and transactional trademark matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct global trademark clearance, prosecution, and maintenance of the portfolio.
• Manage trademark enforcement and anti‑counterfeiting initiatives.
• Communicate with business units and external counsel on trademark and copyright issues.
• Support trademark‑related transactions such as licensing, divestments, and acquisitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed before start date.
• At least three years of domestic and foreign trademark paralegal experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.
• Certification from an ABA‑accredited paralegal or legal‑assistant program.
• Ability to work onsite at the Maplewood, MN location at least four days per week.

Required skills

• Experience with trademark docketing software.
• Familiarity with ANAQUA (preferred).
