Senior Technical Recruiter

About the role

The Senior Technical Recruiter will partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to attract and hire top‑tier engineering talent for software, mechanical and electrical teams. You will shape hiring strategies, build pipelines, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience while supporting Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ mission of sustainable mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies for engineering roles.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates across software, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through outbound sourcing, networking, and engagement with diverse candidate pools.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring seamless experiences for candidates and hiring teams while adhering to policies and SOPs.
• Conduct technical screenings to assess expertise in software, mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to strengthen the employer brand.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of deep experience in technical recruiting, focusing on software, mechanical and/or electrical engineering roles.
• Proven ability to source and engage top‑tier engineering talent through multiple channels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
