Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

Mastercard’s Payment Enablement team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead an agile squad. You will act as the Scrum Master and project owner, ensuring the team delivers high‑quality solutions that support Mastercard’s global payments ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and demos.
• Coach the team on agile best practices, self‑organization and continuous improvement.
• Track and manage release scope, timing, dependencies and production readiness.
• Provide data‑driven status updates to stakeholders and resolve conflicting viewpoints constructively.
• Evaluate system designs and architecture during solution discussions.
• Drive process improvements that accelerate delivery, lower costs and enhance quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the squad’s projects and represent the team to external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager on enterprise‑level software projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective business relationships.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle and agile methodologies.
