About the role
The Senior Technical Account Manager will combine data‑analysis expertise with a passion for empowering customers. You will work directly with customers to deliver cost‑intelligence insights, guide conversations around cost growth, and advise on AI ROI and cloud‑spend optimization. The role requires strategic thinking, strong relationship building, and the ability to translate technical data into actionable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic onboarding and implementation initiatives for customer segments, handling ad‑hoc requests.
- Mentor, coach and train fellow TAMs on continuous improvement and enablement.
- Form and maintain strong relationships across key customer personas, providing leadership and domain expertise.
- Communicate value, monitor KPIs and conduct periodic executive business reviews.
- Act as the Customer Success ambassador for product, engineering and go‑to‑market teams, representing the customer voice.
- Introduce new products/features and champion business‑outcome processes with customers.
- Resolve complex customer/vendor issues and proactively prevent negative service trends.
- Build and monitor adoption metrics to drive best‑in‑class NPS.
- Develop repeatable, scalable technical solutions that can be turned into playbooks or runbooks.
- Lead joint success‑planning workshops, analysis, testing and support for internal initiatives and tools.
Required profile
- 3+ years consulting on AWS, GCP and/or Azure services/solutions.
- 3+ years experience as a Technical Account Manager, DevOps or related role in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, transformative workplace.
- Positive attitude with a passion for coaching and feedback.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to educate and influence at all levels.
- Experience developing financial analysis and optimization recommendations for cloud services.
- Expertise in cloud spend, resource reservations and tagging strategies.
- Passion for data and helping customers achieve better outcomes using their own data.
