Senior Tax Accountant – Public Accounting Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a well‑established public accounting firm. The role offers the chance to work with a stable client base, manage diverse tax engagements, and grow within a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual (1040), partnership (1065), corporate (1120/1120S), and estate & trust tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and resolve tax‑related issues.
• Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and required documentation.
• Collaborate with junior and senior staff on tax projects.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong experience preparing complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong technical tax knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPA or EA license preferred.
