Senior Supply Planner (CPG/Food)

About the role

Iberia Foods, the leading U.S. distributor of Caribbean and Latin American food products, is seeking a Senior Supply Planner. You will ensure optimal product availability by balancing service levels, inventory, working capital, capacity, and supply constraints while collaborating closely with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term supply plans.
• Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify risks of stockouts, excess, or slow‑moving stock.
• Participate actively in the monthly S&OP process.
• Assess the impact of promotions, new product launches, and commercial initiatives.
• Analyze performance metrics such as Service Level, Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, and Supply Plan Adherence.
• Lead root‑cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvements in planning processes, tools, and discipline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, production planning or broader supply‑chain roles.
• Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food & beverage, consumer goods or retail.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, replenishment, forecasting and capacity planning.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or planning systems.
• Advanced English communication skills.
