Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join BASF’s Intermediates team in Houston. The role focuses on inventory and supply planning for domestic production, tolling and imports within the Amines portfolio, supporting customer service and manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional supply chain optimization and S&OP processes for the Amines product range.
• Develop and execute production and purchase plans aligned with service goals, inventory targets and efficiency targets.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Manufacturing, Customer Care and Procurement.
• Identify and drive SCM projects to capture specific improvement opportunities.
• Support broader supply chain functions and foster strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing or related functions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high‑profile products simultaneously.
• Strong analytical mindset and understanding of modern SCM concepts.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems.
