Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic leadership for purchasing, procurement and logistics functions at our Cerritos office. You will build a high‑performing supply chain that supports growth, ensures continuity of supply and drives cost, quality and service improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities to meet quality, delivery, compliance and specification standards.
• Develop and execute supply‑chain strategies that strengthen supplier performance, diversify sourcing and reduce risk.
• Lead major projects and cross‑functional initiatives to improve overall supply‑chain performance.
• Source new suppliers globally and domestically, negotiate pricing, terms and service levels.
• Evaluate supplier performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Run competitive bidding processes and select suppliers based on strategic, financial and operational criteria.
• Oversee return, rework or replacement of defective materials and ensure supplier resolution.
• Collaborate with internal partners to optimise working capital, forecasting accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Manage import logistics, coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders and global suppliers.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred).
• 10+ years of import procurement experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• 10+ years of progressive team‑management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and ability to analyse demand and execute purchase orders.
• Experience sourcing leather and/or PPE products is a plus.
