About the role

REGENT is developing the Seaglider, a wing‑in‑ground‑effect craft for fast, sustainable coastal transportation. As a Senior Structures Engineer you will lead composite structural analyses to ensure flight‑capable hardware is safe, lightweight, and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute composite structural analysis for static, buckling, modal, and fatigue load cases and translate results into design guidance.
• Own margin substantiation for primary and secondary structures, collaborating with design to achieve weight‑efficient solutions.
• Deliver high‑impact analyses supporting major program milestones.
• Develop and maintain analysis models, assumptions, and documentation for repeatable engineering decisions.
• Work closely with loads, manufacturing, and certification teams to align analyses with requirements and verification needs.

Required skills

• Composite structural analysis (static, buckling, modal, fatigue).
• Strong FEM experience with interpretation of composite‑specific failure modes.
• Knowledge of composite materials and processes (prepreg, RTM, infusion, autoclave, OOA).
• Solid fundamentals in laminate theory, load paths, and structural sizing for flight‑capable hardware.
• Familiarity with certification‑oriented analysis and documentation practices.
