Senior Software Engineer - Image Reconstruction (C++/CUDA)

About the role

Build the GPU‑native engine that transforms raw CT physics into life‑saving images inside Philips scanners worldwide. You will work at the frontier of C++, CUDA and AI, delivering maximum performance on constrained hardware alongside world‑class physicists.

Key responsibilities

• Re‑architect the entire CT image‑reconstruction pipeline as a fully GPU‑native, massively scalable platform in C++ and CUDA.
• Collaborate shoulder‑to‑shoulder with physicists, algorithm architects and platform engineers to translate complex signal and image‑processing models into high‑performance GPU implementations.
• Design, build, test and deploy the reconstruction software together with global CT platform teams.
• Drive performance engineering by profiling, parallelising, and optimising memory usage across caches and shared memory, and explore learned models that replace expensive physics calculations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience developing complex software systems in C++.
• Experience with GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL or HIP) or a strong background in optimizing code for resource‑constrained environments.
• Solid mathematical foundation; background in image and signal processing or medical image formation is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with global development teams.
