Senior Service Technician – Property Maintenance

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Service Technician for its Thornton Place community. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs, including appliance repairs, in a timely manner.
• Prepare apartments for new move‑ins by executing the “make‑ready” process.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Assist with vendor management and other related duties.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and carry out preventative maintenance work orders.

Required profile

• Proficient in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
