Senior SEO Account Manager

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior SEO Account Manager to lead local‑search strategies for U.S. home‑service businesses such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical and landscaping firms. You will act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of owners generating $10‑15 M in revenue, guiding them from audit through execution and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 8–10 client accounts, owning end‑to‑end local SEO performance and client satisfaction.
• Lead onboarding calls, monthly strategy reviews and regular check‑ins with business owners.
• Audit local search presence and develop customized SEO strategies to close performance gaps.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles, including posts, photos, Q&A, review strategy and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement on‑site SEO improvements on WordPress sites (technical fixes, content optimization, internal linking, metadata).
• Build and maintain local citations and directory listings ensuring NAP consistency.
• Monitor rankings, traffic and lead metrics using BrightLocal, Whitespark, Google Search Console and GA4, translating data into actionable insights.
• Support social‑media content planning for selected accounts where required.
• Stay current on Google algorithm updates and local SEO trends, adjusting strategies proactively.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on local SEO experience, preferably in the home‑services sector.
• Proven ability to communicate confidently with senior business owners and present data‑driven recommendations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on results and proactive problem‑solving.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
