Senior Security Engineer – AI Identity Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join C1’s early‑stage security team. You will work on a platform that secures human, non‑human and AI identities, building automation that embeds security into the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive security standards and secure‑by‑default solutions for application and cloud environments.
• Build purpose‑built agents and automation that orchestrate security tasks such as triage, enrichment and review.
• Shift security left by integrating risk‑based reviews into design specs and architecture decisions.
• Develop security tooling and observability signals that scale across engineering teams.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments and security code reviews for high‑risk features.
• Partner with engineering to remediate critical threats and define API security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing enterprise SaaS applications, including authentication, authorization and API validation.
• Background in software, platform, systems, network, cloud or application security.
• Hands‑on code review experience, preferably in Go, Python or Rust.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider and comfort working across cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
