Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee complex projects within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and delivering high‑quality outcomes on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor large‑scale projects across clinical, research, and educational domains.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and facilitate effective communication.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Provide regular status reports to senior leadership and adjust project plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, regulatory requirements, and best‑practice project management methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects in a healthcare or academic environment.
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
