Senior Project Manager (Hybrid) Arlington

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will support Chinook’s government‑focused clients by coordinating and delivering engineering, code compliance, and commissioning services across the facility lifecycle. The position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week on the client site and the remainder in the Arlington office or remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent engineering, code compliance, and commissioning projects for federal facilities, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide senior‑level technical oversight throughout planning, design, construction, testing, turnover, warranty, and operations phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews, submittals, inspections, testing documentation, O&M manuals, and closeout deliverables.
• Take ownership of contractual and financial performance, including scope, schedule, funding, and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive engineering and project delivery experience in building and facility systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various work sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, building codes, and standards.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities and resolving technical issues.
