Senior Project Manager – Healthcare IT

About the role

The Senior Project Manager leads large‑scale Health Information Exchange (HIE) implementations for Contexture, coordinating technology, training, and community adoption across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, forecast and manage delivery of all implementation deliverables through the full project life‑cycle.
• Lead agile and business‑operations teams, manage vendor engagement, and oversee new‑hire training on implementation processes.
• Document current workflows, re‑engineer processes, and define measurable goals for HIE adoption.
• Conduct testing activities—including integration, data migration and user acceptance testing—and resolve defects.
• Provide status reporting, risk mitigation, and post‑production support to ensure community satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven project‑management experience in health‑IT, with success leading complex, technology‑heavy projects.
• Strong understanding of RHIOs, HIE landscape, clinical workflow and health‑information technology.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors and internal teams while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Agile methodology and Agile project‑management tools (Jira, Rally, VersionOne or equivalents).
• Health‑IT specific knowledge: HIE, RHIO, HIT, clinical workflow mapping.
• Testing expertise: integration, data migration, user acceptance testing, defect identification and remediation.
