Senior Product Manager

About the role

Canals is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be its second full‑time product hire. Reporting directly to the co‑founder and CEO, you will own product direction for a B2B SaaS platform that automates wholesale distribution workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define, refine, and own the product roadmap in partnership with the CEO.
• Design intuitive product flows that minimise cognitive load and prevent user errors.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to ensure seamless, intentional UX.
• Translate high‑level goals into well‑scoped specifications and detailed flows.
• Prioritise simplicity and clarity in language, layout, and interactions.
• Identify and eliminate points of friction before they affect users.
• Advocate for strong UX and customer empathy throughout development.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record of shipping clean, simple, high‑clarity user experiences.
• Deep intuition for UX and user behavior, anticipating confusion and fixing it.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback.
• Ability to work independently with high ownership and initiative.
• Experience in early‑stage teams or fast‑paced startups.
