Senior Product Manager - Home Services

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Home Services product line in Pennant Park. The role assesses market needs and leads cross-functional product teams to deliver value that drives sales, improves efficiency and raises customer satisfaction. It works at both strategic and tactical levels, with products that are often higher profile and larger in scope.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning (50%): turn business goals and user needs into product strategy, set goals and metrics, manage and groom the product backlog, partner with Finance on business plans, and monitor research and competition
• Delivery and execution (20%): run user research and testing, document and review quality and change control standards, create and prioritize user stories, take part in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives, and explain technical concepts simply to stakeholders
• People (30%): foster collaboration with Engineering and UX, advocate for the end user, guide junior team members, and help with talent acquisition, development and retention

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: 3-6 years of relevant experience, including as a Product Manager in a modern software development environment
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Reports to the Product Management Manager or Sr. Manager; typically less than 10% overnight travel
