Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Quanta is building a new financial system of record that captures every event, calculation, policy, source, and decision behind the numbers. As a Senior Product Engineer you will help shape the Operational Ledger, enabling users to answer complex financial questions as easily as a Google search.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features for the Operational Ledger and related financial workflows.
• Own and improve core abstractions that increase system flexibility while maintaining trust and correctness.
• Collaborate with engineers, accountants, and domain experts to translate real‑world finance problems into robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to the team’s AI strategy, defining how AI can augment the ledger’s capabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience, preferably on small, high‑impact B2B teams.
• Strong systems thinking, including API design, data modeling, and reliability engineering.
• Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and self‑direction in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development across modern backend and frontend technologies.
• Product mindset with good judgment around trade‑offs.
• Collaboration skills to work closely with finance experts and engineers.
