Senior Product Designer & Researcher

About the role

Deloitte Technology’s Product Engineering team is looking for a senior Product Designer and Researcher to shape digital products used by Deloitte professionals, businesses, and clients. This hands‑on role blends user research, interaction design, prototyping, and iterative testing to turn complex workflows into clear, usable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, prototype evaluations) to uncover user needs and validate decisions.
• Translate findings into personas, journey maps, opportunity areas and clear recommendations that influence product roadmaps.
• Design interactions, wireframes and prototypes that communicate complex workflows and enable early testing.
• Partner with product managers, engineers and designers to define problems, prioritize needs and iterate throughout the product lifecycle.
• Measure design impact using usability findings and behavioral data, refining experiences accordingly.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience designing or researching digital product experiences.
• 2+ years leading design or research workstreams and mentoring practitioners.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present findings and influence product decisions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
