Senior Network Engineer - Operations

About the role

TensorWave is seeking a Senior Network Engineer focused on Operations to manage and evolve large‑scale data‑center networks that power AI and GPU workloads. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day network reliability, automation, and on‑call support in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large Ethernet fabrics across multiple data centers.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, and rapid troubleshooting of latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, hardware upgrades, and replacements with minimal disruption.
• Support continuous scale‑out growth of production networks to meet AI workload demands.
• Develop and extend automation tooling using Python, Go, Ansible, and Git‑backed workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of data‑center network operations experience.
• Multi‑vendor and network‑OS expertise (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Whitebox; Junos, IOS/IOS‑XE, NX‑OS, EOS, SONiC).
• Hands‑on experience with large Ethernet fabrics and edge networks.
• Strong understanding of scale‑up versus scale‑out architectures.
• Proven ability to operate production networks at scale.

Required skills

• Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Whitebox hardware.
• Junos, IOS, IOS‑XE, NX‑OS, EOS, SONiC operating systems.
• Python, Go, Ansible, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Network APIs/SDKs, telemetry, log parsing.
• 100G+ Ethernet, optical transceivers (SR/LR/ER, DWDM).
