Strategist, Agent Development - Tech, Media & Telecom

About the role

As an Agent Strategist you own how Sierra’s AI agents come to life for our customers—from the first pilot to a production‑grade agent handling thousands of conversations daily. You work at the intersection of product, engineering and customer‑facing teams, turning complex, high‑stakes problems into measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle, from scoping and conversation design through tooling, evaluation, launch and continuous iteration.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, shaping AI strategy that aligns with their business goals.
• Partner daily with customer teams, run working sessions, troubleshoot issues and keep projects on track for launch.
• Feed unmet customer needs back to product and research to influence Sierra’s roadmap.

Required profile

• Strong customer obsession and ability to build trusted relationships in complex organizations.
• Clear, persuasive communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strategic problem‑solving in ambiguous environments with solid analytical skills.
• Technical aptitude to read API documentation, understand data models and system architecture.
• Proven ownership and delivery of multiple high‑visibility projects.
• Interest or experience in telecommunications, media, technology or subscription‑based businesses.
