Senior Medical Science Liaison – Neuroimmunology (Ohio/Michigan)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in neuroimmunology to cover the Ohio and Michigan region. The Sr. MSL will serve as a scientific bridge between the company, key opinion leaders, and healthcare providers, delivering balanced, evidence‑based information on current and pipeline products.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other HCPs across the assigned territory, prioritising in‑person engagements when appropriate.
• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan that includes educational activities, scientific presentations and support for investigator‑initiated research.
• Stay current on scientific and treatment trends in neuroimmunology and communicate insights to internal partners.
• Travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight stays and occasional weekends, to meet field‑based partners and HCPs.

Required profile

• PharmD, PhD, MD, NP or PA with at least 2 years of relevant neurology, immunology or neuromuscular experience.
• 2‑4 years of MSL experience or equivalent clinical/research background in pharma.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within Ohio and Michigan.
• Commitment to compliance with regulatory and healthcare guidelines.

Required skills

• Launch experience in rare disease therapeutics.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI.

What we offer

• Base salary range $137,000 – $235,750 per year, with eligibility for long‑term incentives.
