Senior Manager Engineering Logistics

About the role

As Senior Manager Engineering Logistics you will set and execute the strategic direction for automated material handling systems across Nestlé and Nestlé Purina facilities in the United States. You will work closely with technical experts, vendors, and factory stakeholders to launch, sustain, and continuously improve automated storage and retrieval, monorail, and robotics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of subject‑matter experts to design, execute and standardize startup of AMHS.
• Sustain AMHS performance at existing sites by applying best practices and identifying corrective actions.
• Develop and deploy maintenance strategies for physical logistics equipment, monitor performance and ensure technical requirements are documented and trained.
• Facilitate process‑improvement initiatives aligned with Nestlé Continuous Excellence goals.
• Define and communicate logistics strategy with Supply Chain and Engineering stakeholders to ensure smooth project transitions.
• Ensure warehouse logistics compliance with Nestlé standards, prioritizing food safety, hygiene and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related) with 10+ years in food manufacturing or consumer‑goods, including maintenance, operations and capital projects, plus 3+ years leading physical logistics engineering.
• High school diploma/GED with 12+ years in food manufacturing or consumer‑goods, including maintenance, operations and capital projects, plus 5+ years leading physical logistics engineering.
• Willingness to travel 50‑75% based on business needs.
