Senior Manager, Business Operations

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations for its Sylvester Perioperative Services. This full‑time position oversees budgeting, expense tracking, vendor management and operational efficiency across surgery, anesthesia, PACU, pain management and MOHS services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the department’s annual budget, monitor monthly variances and recommend performance improvements.
• Coordinate procurement of capital equipment, supply chain, and vendor relationships to support clinical operations.
• Lead financial analysis, reporting, and internal control assessments to ensure fiscal integrity.
• Implement process improvements, productivity tools and room utilization strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in operational or financial management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change and drive organizational effectiveness.
