Senior Intelligence and Cyber Planner

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Senior Intelligence and Cyber Planner to support defense missions that keep the nation safe. The role uses expertise in military intelligence and operations across planning, approval and execution, and works primarily from government facilities near Fort Meade, MD, with possible CONUS/OCONUS travel and occasional telework or contractor SCIF use.

Key responsibilities

• Draft or edit Staff Estimates, Intelligence Plans, Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDs), Tasking Orders (TASKORDs) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs)
• Take part in Intelligence Planning Teams, Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams, integrating cyber capabilities into mission plans and supporting action officers
• Review plans to identify missions and responsibilities, and develop and analyze concepts of support and courses of action
• Plan activities for deliberate and dynamic cyberspace operations, and provide technical knowledge of DODIN Cyber Tasking Orders
• Support cyber risk mitigation and help partners assess and manage risks in their cyberspace missions
• Assist in drafting, coordinating and approving plans and orders for subordinate commanders, external agencies and combatant commands, and join joint planning for national initiatives

Required profile

• 10+ years supporting military or government intelligence and cyber missions
• 5+ years in mission planning with military or government IPTs
• Bachelor's degree (10+ years of planning experience can substitute for a degree)
• TS/SCI clearance, with initial and annual Intelligence Oversight training
• Preferred: U.S. Cyber Command experience, full-spectrum cyberspace operations, technical reporting, and the Joint Information Operations or Special Technical Operations Planners course

• Drafting and editing OPLANs, OPORDs, TASKORDs and FRAGOs
• Knowledge of cyberspace capabilities, infrastructure and planning technical operations
