Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web‑based applications that power autonomous surface vessels. You will work at the intersection of cutting‑edge maritime technology and defense, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Design scalable, responsive user interfaces for operators and military personnel.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services to enhance functionality and interoperability.
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability through testing, code reviews, and tuning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5‑10 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with server‑side development in Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic proficiency in Rust.
