Senior Front‑end Engineer

About the role

Altium Limited is looking for a Senior Front‑end Engineer to join its Altium 365 R&D team. You will develop cloud‑native web applications that empower electronics designers to collaborate and bring products to market faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components using HTML, CSS (SCSS) and Vue.js.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, cross‑browser web pages.
• Build reusable libraries and modules for future projects.
• Collaborate with back‑end and product teams to deliver scalable cloud applications.
• Maintain code quality through version control (Git/SVN) and best‑practice patterns.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Self‑motivated learner with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Clear communicator who can think strategically and adapt to change.
• Ownership‑driven attitude, seeing projects through to completion.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS (SCSS).
• Strong experience with Vue.js, including Vuex and Vue Router.
• Familiarity with BEM or other CSS methodologies.
• Experience building single‑page applications (SPA) and ensuring cross‑browser compatibility.
• Proficiency with Git and/or SVN version control systems.
