Senior Financial Analyst III – Global Corporate Functions

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst III to join its Global Corporate Functions team in Austin. The role supports financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across finance, procurement, HR, and legal functions, helping drive strategic decisions and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support reporting and analysis related to financial close, forecast cycles, balance sheet review, and AOP.
• Ensure successful finance operating rhythm through coordination and communication within the organization.
• Work with financial reporting tools; experience with BPC and Anaplan is a strong plus.
• Assist Finance, Indirect Procurement, HR, and Legal partners with ad‑hoc reporting and analysis.
• Help streamline reporting, centralize analytics, and drive process improvement.
• Act as liaison between Corporate Functions and Corporate FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting and enhanced communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong systems skills, including Excel, AI, BPC, Anaplan, and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business partners to drive priorities and strategy.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Motivation to work within a supportive team environment.

What we offer

• Salary range: $92,000 – $126,500 per year.
