Senior Finance Analyst – Global Field Group (GFG)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results‑driven Senior Finance Analyst to join the Global Field Group (GFG) finance team at Applied Materials. The role partners with Account General Managers in North America and Europe to provide finance support, drive operating rhythm, and improve cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary finance partner for the Regional General Manager of North America and Field Operations leadership teams.
• Lead quarterly and annual budgeting cycles, business reviews, scenario analysis, headcount modeling and quarter‑end close.
• Perform variance analysis, identify performance drivers, and deliver recommendations to senior management.
• Manage cost allocation to business units and support quarterly forecasts.
• Analyze accounts receivable to improve Days Sales Outstanding and work with account teams on install & warranty forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• Strong influencing, communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
