Senior Facility Quality Manager

About the role

Lead the quality and food‑safety function for a Nestlé manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environment initiatives, promoting behavioral safety and ensuring compliance with quality and food‑safety policies.
• Direct development, implementation and administration of Quality Assurance activities across all production phases, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage HACCP and Food Safety Teams, oversee hygiene and NGMP programs, and act as the factory Quality Pillar.
• Provide technical support to co‑manufacturers, affiliates and suppliers, conduct vendor audits and support crisis management.
• Communicate regulatory updates, support agencies, and ensure audit compliance (FSSC 22000, NQMS, NGA/Market).
• Build a culture of quality, coach department personnel and lead monthly KPI and MQR reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum seven years of quality‑management experience in food manufacturing, including three to four years in a Quality Assurance Manager role.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Food‑safety systems: HACCP, GMP, allergen control, sanitary design, pest control, food regulations.
• Quality systems knowledge: QMS/FSSC 22000, Nestlé NQMS, audit and trend analysis.
• Technical tools: SAP, Trace software, statistical analysis, Microsoft Word, Excel (Access preferred).
