Senior Environmental Compliance Professional

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Professional to join our growing Environmental Services practice in Connecticut. You will work with a diverse portfolio of industrial and commercial clients, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with complex environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental compliance plans such as SWPPPs, SPCC, and contingency plans.
• Prepare and submit air permit and wastewater discharge permit applications.
• Complete annual regulatory reports including Tier II, TRI (Form R), Permit‑by‑Rule, Title V, and Biennial Hazardous Waste reports.
• Perform air emissions calculations and generate wastewater compliance reports.
• Conduct onsite compliance assessments and provide technical support at client facilities.
• Inspect and support Aboveground and Underground Storage Tank (AST/UST) compliance and tank system design projects.
• Assist in wastewater treatment system design and improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple client accounts and projects while mentoring junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, chemical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental compliance consulting.
• Proven ability to prepare comprehensive compliance plans and regulatory submissions.
