Senior Electronics Design & Characterization Engineer (InfoConn)

About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to lead design review and hardware characterization of infotainment and connectivity ECUs for electric vehicles. The role sits in the Electronics Test and Validation team, ensuring module‑level validation of RV Tech electronic control units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed verification and characterization test plans for ECU programs, collaborating with reliability, design, RF, and firmware teams.
• Perform bench‑level characterization of power sequencing, rail transients, high‑speed interfaces (GMSL, USB, PCIe, Automotive Ethernet) and RF performance of integrated radios.
• Lead power‑integrity and coexistence testing, correlate measurements with design intent, and provide early feedback to designers.
• Write automation scripts and instrumentation drivers in Python, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and data analysis.
• Support firmware flashing, debugging, and root‑cause analysis of non‑compliant test results.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of electronics design, characterization and validation experience.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑bandwidth oscilloscopes, VNAs, BERTs, spectrum analyzers or equivalent wireless test equipment.
• Strong understanding of power‑ and signal‑integrity fundamentals for multi‑rail, high‑speed hardware.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and data analysis, including use of AI coding assistants.
